Things to Consider when Planning Your Next Offsite at a Private Airbnb Rental
We’ve planned our fair share of offsites and have found there are two major categories of venues companies consider: the private rental or the hotel rental. When planning, consider the onsite experience you’d like your team to experience AND the planning logistics leading up to it. We’ve pulled together a few helpful things to consider when choosing a private rental option, specifically through Airbnb.

Pros:

  • Cost-effective option for small teams
  • Diversity in interior design
  • Lots of options to choose from

Cons:

  • It is impossible to guarantee quality and services
  • There is no on-site person to mitigate issues
  • Unreliable WiFi = unproductive offsite

Because you don’t have full control over everything in the space and there’s the opportunity for things to go arry, it you’re looking for some unique options, consider:

  • A local bed and breakfast
  • A funky boutique hotel
  • A private rental with onsite or nearby management

These options give the same close-knit feel, while guaranteeing the minimum needs for a productive and successful offsite!

Still love the idea of the cool and unique treehouse Airbnb? Always come prepared and:

  • Bring a WiFi hotspot
  • Only book with Superhosts
  • Ask the host questions prior to determine responsiveness

Where is your favorite offsite lodging? Do you prefer a five star hotel, or a funky boutique stay? Is a private house rental your go-to?
